A Heart Healthy Camp Weekend with Golden Fiesta
December 2nd, 2017 — Affairs, Promos / Events
It was a perspiring but fun weekend at last week’s Golden Fiesta Heart Healthy Camp in Bonifacio Global City which aims to teach Filipinos the importance of maintaining an active and heart-healthy lifestyle.
Weekend of Fitness
The day-long camp held at the park in front of Nutriasia Building in BGC witnessed participants choosing from an assortment of fitness routines and activities that included a Zumba workout.
It was also a treat seeing celebrity power couple, Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico, lead other celebrities including Ana Roces, Maricar de Mesa, Rachel Daquis, Anton del Rosario, Hillarie Parungao, Angelia Ong, Jaymie Pizarro, Angel Jones, June Macasaet and Sam Ajdani.
All together, they were split into two teams – Team Solenn and Team Nico – for a fun fitness competition which revealed a very talkative, to say the least (I actually wanted to say ‘trash talker’ – in a good and funny way), Nico Bolzico.
The sexy Solenn Heussaff and funny Nico makes a cute couple indeed.
At the end of the day, it was Team Nico who emerged victorious according to fitness points they gathered through the different fitness challenges prepared by Golden Fiesta through out the day.
“It’s not every day that we get a chance to train with our celebrity idols and fitspirations, not to mention jump-starting a new fitness regimen with them—for free. It is a great opportunity for you to evaluate your lifestyle and initiate positive changes, including making the right food choices. After all, it’s an event made possible by heart-healthy Golden Fiesta Canola Oil.†said Carl Constantino, category marketing manager at NutriAsia.
Cooking Demos and More
Moreover, Chef Jose Sarasola held a cooking demo to the delight of the not-so ‘active‘ participants. Of course, we got to taste the treats cooked with the healthy Golden Fiesta Canola Oil.
The chef-actor taught participants how to prepare simple but healthy recipes at home, like Golden Fiesta Lettuce Salad with Guyabano Vinaigrette, Golden Fiesta Bangus Back Fillet and Adobo Kangkong Duo, and Golden Fiesta Japanese Chicken Katsu in Curry Sauce.
Registered nutritionist and dietician Fia Batua gave free consultations to participants on how to maintain a heart-healthy lifestyle. Different branded booths from Fly Ace such as the new Locally Juice Drinks and the packed Buko Juice brand were also at the venue.
The public also got the chance to check their current fitness status using Golden Fiesta’s Karada machines, which will also determine whether they are suited for the beginner, intermediate, and advance levels of activities. They also received a special event passport that was stamped after they finish each fitness activity, plus a Finisher’s Shirt and other special treats from Golden Fiesta upon completing all activities.
And lastly, there were engaging talks by nutrition and fitness experts as well.
Golden Fiesta by NutriAsia, the country’s number one cooking oil brand, is available in leading supermarkets nationwide. NutriAsia is a powerhouse of beloved, timeless, and iconic Filipino food brands that include Datu Puti, UFC, Silver Swan, Papa, Jufran, Mafran, Mang Tomas, and Golden Fiesta.
Catch the next Golden Fiesta Heart Healthy Camp to be held at Eton Centris Walk in Quezon City on December 3, Sunday.
