Wine Wednesdays Lead to the 16th Grand Wine Experience

Less than a week before the 16th Grand Wine Experience this coming November 4, 2016, the Philippine Wine Merchants hosted another batch of Wine Wednesday gathering following the success of a recent Bloggers’ Wine Wednesday.

Still held at the Wine Museum (beside Ralph’s Wine) in Pasay City, select members of the media were able to taste and have a sneak peek of the participating brands for a night of great wine and good company.

Among the ‘Wine Wednesday‘ featured wines and spirits were Pebble Lane Sauv Blanc, Elderton E-Series Shiraz & Cabernet, wines from Premier, Citra Sangiovese, Gancia Asti Pinot Di Pinot, Hugo, crowd favorite Rosso Noble Ciocolata, Wente, Pirramimma Shiraz, Angove, Vina Maipo Chardonnay, John Lee Bourbon, Corona Beer, Dalmore (which is considered as one of the most expensive wines in the world at P2.5M per bottle for the 40+ years old), Zonin Procecco, and Robert Mundavi – Woodbridge!

16th Grand Wine Experience

The Philippine Wine Merchants (PWM) was founded in 1975 by Ralph Lim Joseph. Together with his three brothers- Robert, Ronnie, and Raymond, the Joseph brothers had successfully run the business becoming one of the biggest wine importers and distributors in the country with strong market presence in both on-premise and off-premise sales.

Fast forward to the upcoming Grand Wine Experience 2016, they envision this year’s gathering to be the most illustrious wine event in Southeast Asia as they will be featuring over 500 of the world’s most notable wines and spirits in one night.

Happening at The Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel Resorts World Manila, Philippines on November 4, 2016, the Grand Wine Experience promises to be an unforgettable night for wine enthusiasts, experts and novice, alike.

In addition to the wines, visitors can choose from and a buffet as lavish as it is endless, oenophiles and epicureans will bask in the majesty of the country’s most prestigious and most extravagant wine and spirits event.
