Kris Aquino Opens New SM Supermarket BF Paranque

No less than top celebrity Kris Aquino led the opening of SM Supermarket BF Parañaque as it opened at the new SM City BF at Dr. A Santos Road cor. President Ave., Sucat Parañaque, south of Metro Manila a week ago.

In it’s grand launch last November 28, 2013 (public opening was Nov 29), top celebrity and media personality Kris Aquino graced the launch as SM’s holiday endorser.

After the ribbon cutting, Kris Aquino toured SM Supermarket BF for the very first time and bought things for herself and her family. She went around the different sections of the supermarket and picked some of her favorite things.

Kris Aquino is a very hands-on mom who, like all mothers, would like nothing but the best for her children and SM Supermarket is one of her most favorite places to start. Did you know that cooking and baking are two of her favorite hobbies? And to impress her sons, Kris does her food shopping at SM Supermarket.

“Not overwhelming store size but it’s complete… everything you need is in SM and it’s all affordable; mura dito.” her remarks halfway through her shopping.

The launch was also ceremonial for the turnover of Kris Aquino’s donation of SM Supermarket food packs worth P100,000 to typhoon Yolanda survivors. It included 10,000 pieces of Biyayang Handog Adobo Rice from SM.

Furthermore, since Thanksgiving Day was just concluded, Kris visited the Ready Meals section where her favorite U.S. Roast Beef and Roast Turkey are found as prepared by Chef Anton.

Surprised with the price range, “seryoso yun yung price? Di na ko magluluto!”, was Kris’ remarks. It was also the last section where Kris went before moving on to visit the SM Store.

Around SM Supermarket BF

Located at the east side of the mall, SM Supermarket BF offers customers a welcoming facade leading to the grocery entrance.

Along the way, you won’t miss the Bakery, Pharmacy, Premium Milk, Wines & Liquors, and food stall areas.

Upon entering the supermarket, you would immediately notice the extra spacious aisles and lower product shelves. This is a new trend you might see in the other new SM Supermarkets to allow better visibility of other items in the next or so aisles. Lastly, it has the usual and ever-dependable Bills Payment, Money Changer, and Package Counter sections.

 

Of course, together with my wife, we did our own grocery shopping in the Kris Aquino fashion (joke!) as well – we just got some bread and veggies.

If you happen to be around BF in Paranaque, don’t forget to visit and be greeted by the Holiday Baskets of different shapes and sizes filled with goodies, 10 + 1 CDO and Purefoods Hams, 5 + 1 SM Bonus Hawaiian Brick Hams, and the 3+1 promos on selected appliances. Don’t forget your holiday hams, fruit cocktails, condensed milk; and everything in between for the Christmas holidays and Noche Buena.
