Max’s Restaurant Highlights New Rice Bowl Offerings

With our fast-paced lifestyle in the urban city, fast-food restaurants are our go-to place for lunch, dinner, or some quick bites. But there are times we just want to “real food” – meals that consists of viands and rice that reminds us of home-style cooking by our parents of ‘lolas‘ and ‘lolos‘.

It’s good that there’s Max’s Restaurant! Aside form their world-famous Max’s Chicken, they also offer multiple variants of rice bowls!

Real Food with Max’s Rice Bowls

Starting at just Php 149, Max’s Rice Bowls aim to satisfy our cravings for delicious and filling Filipino food!

Among the newest offerings are the  Seafood Kare-Kare Rice Bowl and Spicy Tofu.

The first one is made with a combination of shrimp, squid, and fish slow cooked in creamy peanut sauce while the second one is deep fried tofu cubes tossed in a special spicy mayo base and served with a side of fried egg

Add to that one of the all-time favorite Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet Rice Bowl, Chopsuey Rice Bowl, and Fish Fillet Rice Bowl.

The former is made with breaded cream dory doused in a combination of sweet and tangy sauce while the latter features a symphony of sautéed fresh vegetables, pork, shrimp, and chicken liver and gizzard.

The third, Fish Fillet in Black Bean Sauce, is made with lightly breaded cream dory flavored by red bell pepper strips, spring onions, ginger strips, and black bean sauce.
