The new Krispy Kreme mobile application, or Krispy Kreme App for short, had an intimate media launch last Friday night at their Bonifacio High Street branch.

Marketing Manager for Krispy Kreme Philippines – Ms. Ariane Martinez- Valinton shared that their new Krispy Kreme App is a value-added service intended to extend their market reach to customers who want their fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts delivered at the comfort of their offices and homes.

And since delivery is currently limited to 8 key sites within the Greater Manila Area (GMA) and within a retail transaction area (RTA is basically within the nearby commercial area of the branch only), you might want to opt for the “Pick Up” instead to get your freshly made doughnuts from your choice of any Krispy Kreme Branch nationwide.

The 8 key sites are:

• Ortigas Center
• Makati CBD
• Bonifacio Global City
• Malate / Macapagal Boulevard
• Gateway
• Alabang
• Greenhills
• Eastwood

Here’s the Step-by-Step Guide of Screenshots on How to  Order via the Krispy Kreme App:

• Download the Krispy Kreme App, Install, and Open It!

• Choose “Order” and customize your order

• Select the doughnuts on your smartphone and order as many as you like and variety. You can order a whole box of a dozen Original Glaze!

  

  Your Orders

• Proceed to Checkout (new users will have to create account for delivery information)

  

  If you are a new user, you will be asked to REGISTER your information; otherwise, this CHECKOUT summary screen with your info is shown

• Choose “Deliver Now“, “Deliver Later“, or “For Pick-Up“

  

  Choose your DELIVERY OPTION: “Deliver Now”, “Deliver Later”, or “For Pick-Up”

• Proceed to Payment (Cash on Delivery or Credit Card); Pick-Ups are limited to Credit Card transactions for security purposes.

  

  Payment Options: “Cash on Delivery” or “Credit Card”

Aside from doughnuts, you can also buy other Krispy Kreme products such as cakes, coffee, deals,  and gift certificates.

Online ordering is open from 8am to 8pm only while pick-up is dependent on the operating hours of the branch. Each order needs a P500 minimum transaction.

Advance orders can be placed as early as two months before the delivery or pick-up date.

I ordered mine last March 27, 2015 and will have it delivered on April 5, 2015. But since our house in Quezon City is out of coverage area, I had it changed to “Pick-Up” from Krispy Kreme Trinoma instead.

Current limitations and birth pains aside, the Krispy Kreme App looks promising specially for loved-ones from far away places like OFWs who wants to send some sweet embrace for their relatives in the Philippines through a gift of  ‘Joy In A Box‘. 🙂
