Max’s Adobong Kangkong is a staple favorite in the family. This is specially true with one of my aunts, she never fails to order ’em every time she visits any Max’s Restaurant.

Interestingly, Max’s recently launched their new “Sizzling Specials” with new sizzling dishes and added some twists to old time sizzling favorites. For example, the adobong kangkong can become a sizzling dish mixed with stuffed tofu (Top Photo). From a simple side dish, now the adobong kangkong becomes an entree.

In addition to the Adobong Kangkong with Stuffed TofuMax’s Sizzling Specials also include the Gambas Con AligueChicken SisigSizzling Tofu, and the Sizzling Sweet and Spicy Chicken.

For Friday ‘gimmick‘ nights, you may also want to order Max’s classic Lumpiang Shanghai, the deep-fried Chicken Neck Original, or its variant – the Salt and Pepper Chicken Neck. You may also add the all-time favorites Max’s ‘sarap-to-the-bones’ Fried Chicken, Lechon Kawali and Crispy Pata to complete the experience.

There are also options for budget-friendly priced meal bundles where these Sizzling Specials such as the Chicken Neck is paired with a cold bottle of San Mig Light drink.
